About this role
Outsourced Provider Services (OPS) delivers accounting, reporting, and reconciliation support for a broad range of middle office clients. The OPS Asset Reconciliations team is responsible for safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of investment data across critical processes including investment management, analytics, compliance, and reporting. The Analyst will perform daily position and trade reconciliations, investigate and resolve breaks, execute key controls, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a controlled, timely, and scalable operating environment.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform daily position, trade, and related reconciliation activities, including monitoring control reports, dashboards, and inboxes to ensure all assigned portfolios are reconciled accurately and on time.
- Provide high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and escalating material risks or aging breaks on a timely basis.
- Prepare and review reconciliations across BlackRock, asset manager, and custodian records; investigate exceptions, identify root cause and responsible party, and drive issues through to accurate resolution within required deadlines.
- Maintain account, portfolio, and reference data to reflect client, market, and operational changes accurately, supporting a strong control environment and high-quality downstream reporting.
- Partners with custodians, external service providers, clients, and internal teams to investigate discrepancies, close process gaps, and support sustainable issue resolution.
- Support process improvement, documentation, and automation initiatives that enhance control effectiveness, improve scalability, and reduce operational risk.
Skills Required:
