As a Medical Science Liaison within our Specialty Care team, you'll serve as a trusted bridge between Sanofi and the healthcare community, translating cutting-edge clinical science into real-world insights that drive better patient outcomes. Ready to get started?

You'll establish meaningful relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, lead clinical initiatives, and ensure that Real-Life Medicine from the field directly informs our brand strategy.

Main responsibilities

• Establish and manage balanced, trustworthy relationships with scientific external experts (SEEs) and key healthcare stakeholders to expand understanding of patient needs and clinical opportunities
• Provide accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information to healthcare professionals and decision-makers on rare diseases and Sanofi's therapeutic portfolio
• Work closely with Medical Affairs and clinical teams to coordinate Phase III and IV clinical projects, identify real-world evidence opportunities, facilitate publication submissions, and support site selection for clinical studies
• Gather field intelligence on competitor activities, patient journeys, and healthcare ecosystem dynamics, and communicate insights directly to the brand team to inform strategy
• Support commercial teams by serving as a product expert during training sessions and in handling clinical objections
• Actively participate in key medical and scientific conferences, staff information booths, and critically observe Sanofi-sponsored speakers to stay current with the field
• Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance procedures, risk management plans, and Sanofi's Code of Ethics and governance requirements

About you

Experience

• Background in pharmaceutical, medical, or clinical environments with demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts

Education

• University degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, or advanced degree preferred)
• Experience in Specialty Care or rare diseases is a plus

Key skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities to simplify complex clinical topics
• Excellent negotiation and networking skills
• Capability to engage at all levels of management
• Familiarity with omnichannel and digital communication tools for remote-based work (essential)
• Good understanding of clinical development and clinical research
• Ability to critically evaluate study protocols and publications

Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of rare disease states, regulatory processes, and pharmacovigilance
• Knowledge of commercial and clinical issues affecting the industry
• Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement strategic medical initiatives

Languages

• English – full professional proficiency (required)
• Arabic (required)
