This job is responsible for managing employees who drive the client credit relationship, including the full credit process and leading parts of the credit deal lifecycle such as application, structuring, approval, due diligence, documentation, closing, and monitoring. Key responsibilities include partnering with business teams, providing credit expertise, and ensuring policy compliance, data accuracy, and timely execution. Job expectations include managing Senior Credit Specialists and Analysts.
This GWIM Credit Securities Based Lending (SBL) Producing Manager role is responsible for managing the centralized SBL Specialist team. The role is also accountable for delivering securities-based lending solutions to wealth management clients in Merrill, and growing loan balances, through effective partnership with Merrill advisors and market leadership within their own targeted geographic territory. Primary responsibilities include increasing advisor participation and client engagement with securities-based lending solutions, providing product education and supporting deal execution. The SIE, Series 24, 7 and 63 (or 66) are required for the position.

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in commercial lending, wealth management lending, or delivering wealth management solutions to clients
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Merrill leadership, advisors, and key business partners to deliver Securities-Based Lending (SBL) solutions to wealth management clients
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proven coaching and talent development capabilities, with the ability to motivate and enhance individual and team performance
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize business development activities across multiple Merrill markets
- Strong partnership and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across underwriting, risk, and other business functions
