Some of the most interesting work in AI starts as research, and the distance between a promising result and a product customers can buy is where product marketing earns its keep, and Foundry Labs is where new model work reaches developers first before graduating into the broader Foundry Models portfolio.
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager, MAI to bring that work to developers, partners, and enterprise customers. You will run launch execution end to end for the MAI multimodal family and for models graduating out of Labs, covering bill of materials, naming, demos, launch content, and field readiness. You will own the Foundry Labs community strategy, growing an engaged base of developers and builders through technical content, open source and preview programs, and day-to-day engagement on Reddit, YouTube, X, Discord, GitHub, and Hugging Face.
That community work feeds a loop: you will capture feedback and usage signals to shape what graduates from Labs, surface standout projects as customer evidence, partner with business planning to commercialize experiments when they are ready and build the sales enablement and customer stories for the field.
This is a hands-on role for a marketer who enjoys developer audiences, moves quickly with an evolving portfolio, and has the technical depth to work directly with researchers and engineers.
Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we embrace a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day, we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to foster a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive, at work and beyond.

- Own day-to-day community monitoring and engagement across the platforms where developers and enthusiasts talk about Microsoft models — including Reddit, YouTube, X, Discord, GitHub, and Hugging Face — responding to questions and feedback, amplifying standout projects, tracking sentiment and emerging themes, and escalating recurring issues to Research and Product.
