A strategically important part of our charter is to help small & mid-sized businesses (SMBs) reach new audiences and accelerate business growth through our suite of self-service advertising products (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Brand Stores, and Sponsored TV). Our team is tasked with building marketing programs that increase awareness of our ad solutions while solving for key customer pain points that accelerate product adoption and ensure advertiser success.
Specifically, we are looking for a high performing Sr. Marketing Manager who will own the development, execution, and impact of our marketing & creative programs for Sponsored Products. As a Sr. Creative Marketer, you will be responsible for the development of strategy and own end-to-end content creation with a focus on mid/long form marketing & educational content (written & video). In this role, your campaigns will help SMB advertisers to overcome key barriers to entry, and ensure they have access to easily discoverable educational content that builds best practices and advertiser success.
The ideal candidate for this role can think strategically and execute flawlessly. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement, and optimize compelling campaigns that drive advertiser acquisition and retention. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You will be excited to test and learn in a data driven environment, and enthusiastic about using customer data and insights to deliver impact across multiple marketing channels. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously. If you are data-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating compelling experiences through marketing, this is a great role for you. Experience working directly with sellers, in either a retail or advertising capacity, is welcomed.
Key job responsibilities
* Responsible for promotions strategy and implementation plan, driving use case analyses integrating historical insights to assess return on investment, and executing the promotions communication plan with analytics, marketing operations, advertiser support, and tech teams.
* Lead promotion testing framework and roadmap to inform long term strategy, and to deliver promotional effectiveness goals on an ongoing basis.
* Develop and execute marketing communications plan for promotions, including targeted Amazon-owned channels like email. Collaborate with marketing stakeholders on roadmap planning, ensuring cohesive integration of promotions with lifecycle communications.
* Partner cross-functionally with science and product teams to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve advertiser lifetime value and experience.
* Drive regular reporting and insights, sharing key learnings and insights with partner stakeholders on shared goals and programs. Provide and implement optimization recommendations for long term success of promotions program.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
