Sr. Program Manager, AFP Recruiting

This is not a traditional talent acquisition role. This role is a program management position focused on building and optimizing the systems, tools, and processes that power AFP's partner selection funnel.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager who will own the end-to-end recruiting funnel that takes a prospective Amazon Freight Partner from initial inquiry to selection. This role manages the application review, screening, and interview processes; leads a support team and external vendors; and uses data and AI to improve the speed, quality, and consistency of partner selection.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the AFP recruiting funnel end to end, from inquiry, application through screening, interviews, and selection.
• Design, document, and continuously optimize recruiting workflows, screening rubrics, selection frameworks.
• Lead and develop a coordinator and contractor support team, setting quality standards and managing workload across the funnel.
• Analyze funnel performance data to identify where candidates stall or drop off, diagnose root causes of conversion fluctuations, and implement process improvements to increase throughput.
• Lead tooling automation and system integration, including screening tools, scheduling systems, and pipeline management platforms, to reduce manual effort and accelerate candidate movement through the funnel.
• Manage third-party vendors, including assessment and screening tools, and hold them accountable to service levels.
• Identify and deploy AI and automation to reduce manual review effort, ensuring tools comply with AI and automated decision-making regulations.
• Communicate funnel performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning a high-volume selection or vetting funnel end to end, including designing workflows, screening rubrics, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience leading a support or coordinator team, including setting priorities, quality standards, and managing workload.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Experience identifying and implementing AI or automation solutions
- Master's degree in business, operations, analytics, human resources, or related field.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
