Engineering Program Specialist

We are searching for a talented individual to support both Hardware and Software teams as well as Carrier Partners on testing and developing thrilling new products in an exciting technology space.

Description

As an Engineering Project Specialist, you will be working closely with regional Carrier Team members world wide, program and system managers, shipping, new product security and other teams within the WTE organization. You will manage and handle software and hardware device allocations and distribution of engineering hardware prototypes, and support the various carrier team groups with carrier testing and device lifecycle related activities

Responsibilities

You will work the various carrier regional teams to ensure correct allocations of samples are ordered and received in a timely manner
You will communicate allocation inputs for carrier testing units
You will manage the logistics of shipping test devices for all regional carrier
You will create and manage documentation to track testing equipment allocation and inventory
Manage budget for tests devices procurement, packaging and shipping
Send and track test devices for all carriers based on the agreed plan
Support administration of carrier’s Apple connect accounts
Manage partner SW release content and delivery
Manage Test SIM card inventory
You ensure device inventory correctly matches the allocations assigned to respective regions
You will also be constantly looking for gaps in existing processes and come up with ideas on how to improve them

Minimum Qualifications

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a large cross-functional team environment
You have a meticulous attention to detail; flexible with the ability to react to changes in a time-sensitive environment
You have the ability to work on multiple projects at a time, and without local supervision
You have a process-oriented mindset: able to identify existing process and fix gaps / improve efficiency
You have knowledge or interest in programming or scripting languages
Experience with AI tools / frameworks

You enjoy taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm

Pay & Benefits — San Diego, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $98,134 and $191,200 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
