As a Commercial Business Director for the Epithelial Biologics Franchise Advanced Specialty Care Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives!

 

This Commercial Business Director serves as a regional second-line leader for our growing, multi-indication TSLP Franchise, with responsibility for a large organization of District Sales Managers and their sales representatives. The role is accountable for building a high-performance culture, driving competitive business results, and accelerating professional development across the organization while leading the total business within a broad geography spanning independent practitioners, health systems, and alternative sites of care across Pulmonology, Allergy, and Otolaryngology. The Commercial Business Director will establish trusted relationships with key customers and advocates who can influence patient care and advance the business. Key lifecycle priorities include maximizing performance in the established Severe Uncontrolled Asthma (SUA) indication, accelerating growth of the newly launched Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP) indication, and preparing the organization for a potential, exciting future launch within the Gastroenterology specialty.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Well-rounded understanding of disease states and treatment pathways and innovative therapies prevalent in Advanced Specialty Care settings and varied healthcare environment, and able to influence specialists and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.  
  • Expertise in leveraging analytical objectivity, and complex data and insights to focus on prescribing patterns to optimize account strategies and prioritize high-value accounts for highly specialized markets.  
  • Drives a targeted approach in account planning and execution.
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptative leadership while driving performance in complex and ambiguous Advanced Specialty Care market environment and effective execution of Brand strategies
  • Ensure sales forecasts and operational budgets are met or exceeded within the therapeutic area at a regional level.  
  • Model and coach to AZ’s Leadership capabilities by creating significant impact, climate of trust and influence over the stakeholders across specialty care environments and external networks.​ 
  • Fosters a Growth Mindset, and continuous learning and improvement. Leverages new technology and data insights to capitalize on opportunities that improves patient care and streamlines process efficiency.

Essential Requirements

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 233,464.00 - 350,196.00 USD. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
