Solutions Architect, Virtualization

We’re hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to drive technical engagement with VMware across vGPU and Virtualization solutions. In this role, you’ll connect real-world customer workloads to NVIDIA’s hardware and software ecosystem, helping developers and enterprises adopt and scale our platforms. What you’ll be doing:

• Serve as a trusted advisor who understands complex or large-scale customer workloads and maps them to NVIDIA’s technology stack to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Co-design advanced, scalable architectures with VMware, defining technical direction, integration milestones, and deployment plans.
• Engage hands-on with deep technical topics—designing, validating, and supporting solutions that enable customer and partner success.
• Identify gaps between VMware needs and NVIDIA offerings, communicating insights that shape internal product and engineering priorities.
• Lead technical engagements, helping customers troubleshoot, resolve complex issues, and advocate for their technical needs.
• Drive technical enablement and platform adoption, helping developers and enterprises integrate NVIDIA SDKs, frameworks, and systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure successful deployment and continuous improvement of NVIDIA solutions.
• Partner with the VMware/Broadcom alliance team on joint validation, reference architectures, and customer-driven roadmap feedback.
• Enable vGPU Compute for AI inference, LLM routing, accelerated data science, and agentic AI workloads.
• Work with Red Hat, SUSE, Nutanix, and other ecosystem partners to support virtualization and workload management on NVIDIA hardware.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Industry background spanning software/hardware engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management — with 3-5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in virtualization or virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Deep technical expertise in vGPU profiles, Multi-Instance GPU (MIG), GPU passthrough, VM sizing and density, and hypervisor-based delivery, with a track record of driving product integrations and contributing to software and hardware platforms, systems, and libraries.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to C-level executives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to helping customers succeed.
• A track record of balancing empathy for VMware needs with the ability to drive complex product decisions through trusted relationships.
• Experience designing, validating, and deploying GPU-accelerated visualization, compute, or AI solutions in virtualized and containerized environments.

• Container-orchestration integration with VMware Tanzu, Red Hat OpenShift, or upstream Kubernetes, including NVIDIA GPU Operator operations.
• Familiarity beyond VMware with Nutanix, Red Hat/OpenShift, Hyper-V, or KVM environments.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.Applications for this job will be accepted at least until October 3, 2026.
