Are you ready to turn evidence into strategy and shape how transformative cancer treatments reach patients? Do you thrive at the intersection of primary research, secondary analytics, and commercial decision-making, using insight to guide brand choices that matter?
As Senior Manager, Integrated Insights, you will be a key driver of data-driven strategy across our US Oncology portfolio. You will partner with brand, forecasting, and analytics colleagues to illuminate customer needs, inform forecasts, and translate market signals into clear actions. Your work will connect the dots between what clinicians and consumers think, what the data shows, and where our brands must go next—helping to accelerate the impact of a fast-moving pipeline and setting a high bar for launch and in-market excellence.
Accountabilities:
- Insight Planning and Partnering: Identify key business needs with collaborators and build research and analysis plans that deliver actionable insight to shape strategy, working closely with forecasting and analytics partners.
- Prioritization and Market Research Execution: Continuously assess priorities and execute primary market research with minimal supervision by leading external agency work; develop and manage project budgets to deliver on time and on value.
- Forecast and Strategy Influence: Translate insight into clear forecasting assumptions and recommended strategic and tactical actions, elevating the discussion with brand leadership.
- AI-Enhanced Research: Apply AI tools to primary research execution and analysis; drive assessment and adoption of novel AI techniques to improve speed, quality, and scale of insight.
- Executive Storytelling: Build succinct, compelling presentations that distill findings into actionable implications and options for decision-makers.
- Secondary Data Integration: Compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and sales data (including identification and appropriate use of data sources) in partnership with Analytics colleagues.
- Brand Health and Voice of Customer: Coordinate insights metrics and benchmark tracking (e.g., ATU, Chart Audit), ensuring the perspectives of HCPs and consumers are clearly represented in brand decisions.
- Competitive Intelligence Leadership: Lead US commercial competitive intelligence for launched and launching treatments, providing early warning on market dynamics and strategic implications.
- Integrated Insight Narrative: Create a unified insights picture by weaving together primary research, secondary analysis, and advanced analytics from cross-functional partners.
- Data Access and AI/Dashboard Integration: Manage data access for enterprise projects and coordinate integration of AI systems and dashboarding/reporting updates that improve visibility and decision speed.
- Continuous Improvement and Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with the Senior Director and cross-functional leaders to refine processes and build systems that enable efficient, high-quality output for strategic decision-making.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research)
- 4+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g., management consulting, market research, data/analytics, investment banking)
- 2+years of primary market research and analytical experience applying varied primary research techniques and secondary information analysis
- Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically
- Strong understanding of primary market research tools and techniques
- Experience with novel AI methodologies
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g., MBA)
- Experience synthesizing primary market research with analytics/secondary data to create a more robust understanding (e.g. commercial performance tracking)
- Insights launch experience with a new brand or indication
- Experience working in Oncology
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
