Citi is looking for an experienced structurer to join its Fixed Income Structuring team, where you will design and deliver innovative solutions for corporate and investor clients across rates and credit. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of client advisory, quantitative analysis, and product development, working in close partnership with sales and trading to bring new ideas and payoffs to market. You will act as a recognized subject matter authority within the team, shaping client strategies and contributing directly to the commercial performance of Citi's fixed income franchise.

 

Responsibilities

  • Structure and price interest rate derivative solutions for institutional clients, balancing client objectives against market risk, counterparty credit risk, funding, and capital considerations.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within the space and develop new trade ideas and payoffs in partnership with sales and trading colleagues.
  • Model payoff structures and conduct risk and P&L analysis to evaluate and support the delivery of new products through internal approval processes.
  • Build customized back-tests and quantitative analysis to support client pitches, transaction decisions, and ongoing portfolio assessment.
  • Drive pre-trade and post-sales activity by working closely with institutional sales teams to develop client-ready materials and lead client-facing presentations and meetings.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Finance, and Audit functions to maintain robust governance and controls across all structured transactions.
  • Assess the risk and reward profile of transactions with integrity, ensuring sound judgement and consideration for Citi's reputation in every business decision.
