Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for the software development team. You guide the team through Agile practices, ensuring smooth communication and coordination among members. Your role involves facilitating key Agile ceremonies, addressing any obstacles that may hinder progress, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. You actively monitor the team's progress and provide insights to help drive continuous improvement, all while supporting a culture of transparency and accountability within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team s progress to maintain a steady workflow.
- Support the team in maintaining focus on sprint goals and deliverables by promoting Agile values and principles.
- Assist in tracking and reporting project progress through relevant metrics to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their growth and understanding of Agile methodologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum practices.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing team dynamics.
- Ability to identify and resolve impediments to ensure continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
- Capability to track and report project metrics effectively.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
