Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user reports to maintain service reliability and support business continuity through effective troubleshooting and resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document findings and solutions to enhance team knowledge and support future troubleshooting.
- Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Backup and Recovery Systems.
- Strong knowledge of data backup methodologies and recovery techniques.
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining system availability and performance.
- Ability to analyze logs and system alerts to diagnose issues effectively.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Skilled in coordinating with multiple teams to resolve complex technical problems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Backup and Recovery Systems.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
