As a Learning Design Lead, you and your team will design, develop, and evaluate solutions that make a difference. Working across complex subjects, simplicity and clarity will be at the heart of what you do, whilst using a range of tools to make sure learning is engaging and memorable.
You’ll be inquisitive, find real business problems, and apply learning methodologies to create measurable solutions that showcase improvements in behaviours and/or performance.

What you’ll do:
- Lead a team of Learning Designers responsible for meeting the needs of our frontline teams in Nottingham and across India
- Design and develop a Blended Learning strategy to modernise our training offer and increase its effectiveness
- Utilise new and existing tools alongside feedback from operational departments to identify knowledge and skills gaps, proposing effective solutions
- Continually invest in the team's evaluation framework, highlighting the value your team provides
- Create and update online and face to face learning materials
- Write learner facing materials to a desired reading age, appropriate for learners in the UK and India
- Produce video and audio learning assets (recording and editing)
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of professional experience in training, learning and development or instructional design
- Experience of leading a team of Learning Designers or a similar discipline
- Experience of implementing and embedding new technologies to enhance the effectiveness of learning
- Experience of using data from various sources to inform future learning strategies
- Experience of working with stakeholders to create roadmaps and implementation plans across complex subject matters
- Extensive knowledge of the learning design process, including defining learning outcomes, storyboarding, scripting, filming plans, and evaluation
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office.
We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days.
