What You Will Achieve

Instrumentation & Automation Maintenance

• Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for instrumentation and automation systems.
• Ensure reliable operation of instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters, analyzers, and control valves.
• Support and maintain PLC, DCS, SCADA, and Filling Line troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and automation issues affecting production.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

• • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
  • Implement reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Drive automation upgrades and digitalization projects.
  • Support energy-saving and cost optimization programs.

• Instrument and Automation Availability/Uptime
• Audit Observations Related to Instrumentation
• MTBF and MTTR Performance
• Maintenance Schedule Compliance
• Production Downtime Reduction
• Safety and GMP Compliance

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience  
• Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
• Experience with process automation systems
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to manage complex issues and foster consensus among teams

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector
• Proficiency in technical writing and document reviews
• Knowledge of contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices
• Proactive approach to promoting safety within the workplace
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
