About the Team
Join DoorDash's MarTech Operations team as we build the quality backbone for Retention Marketing!
About the Role
As a Senior Associate in Martech Operations focused on Creative Automation, you are an expert in the Retention Marketing end-to-end process and the marketing platforms teammates use to deliver high-quality campaigns. You understand how marketers use our internal tools for creative creation and audience building, and understand how data feeds and dynamic content unlock relevant, timely messaging across channels. You identify friction and drive adoption of new platform capabilities. You are the day-to-day point of contact between marketing teams and the platforms they run on.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
You own execution for tooling scope: coordinating platform rollouts, building adoption tracking, documenting how tools work, and surfacing friction to the right owners. You move fast, bring structure to ambiguous situations, and ensure internal teams never feel like they're operating without support.
- Platform Rollout & Internal Launch Support. Coordinate the operational steps required to roll out new platform features or tool updates related to personalization and creative automation to internal marketing teams. Build readiness checklists, write internal launch briefs, and ensure training and documentation are in place before teams are asked to adopt something new.
- Adoption, Measurement & Insights. Track usage metrics for the MarTech tools and capabilities your team supports. Build dashboards that surface adoption rates, error rates, and efficiency signals. Identify where adoption is lagging and bring a point of view on why.
- Process Design & Workflow Optimization. Document existing workflows and identify friction in how internal marketing teams request, execute, and track campaigns. Support improvements to intake processes, SOPs, and escalation paths that reduce manual effort and improve turnaround times. Contribute to the operational documentation and process standards that enable consistent, scalable execution across the team.
- Internal Stakeholder Coordination. Act as a coordination point between internal marketing teams and MarTech platform owners. Facilitate intake for tool requests and issues, triage incoming questions, and maintain the communication loops that keep both sides aligned.
- Experimentation & Impact Measurement. Facilitate experiments that measure the business impact of new tools, workflows, and operational improvements. Partner with stakeholders to collect results, document learnings, and recommend future enhancements.
- Operational Readiness Assessment. Evaluate whether new platform capabilities are ready for internal teams to use – flagging missing documentation, gaps in QA coverage, or workflow steps that haven't been defined. Advise platform and engineering teams on what needs to be resolved before broader rollout.
- Feedback Loop & Insights Surfacing. Gather structured feedback from internal marketing teams on the tools and workflows they use. Synthesize common themes, quantify impact, and bring prioritized insights to the MarTech product teams that can act on them.
What Success Looks Like
Marketing teams consistently adopt new tools and workflows that you’re responsible for.
- Team NPS for tooling and operational processes improves.
- Platform launches are executed with high quality and minimal disruption.
- Your work contributes meaningfully to team OKRs and operational excellence.
We’re excited about you because…
- 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, product operations, marketing operations, program management, or a similar operational role at a tech company
- Expertise with Retention Marketing technology platforms (Braze, Salesforce, CDPs, attribution tools, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional projects – defining milestones, managing dependencies, and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Comfort working with data to track adoption and surface insights; experience with dashboards or basic SQL a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication – able to translate technical platform changes into plain language for marketing practitioners
- Detail-oriented with a high bar for operational readiness; you notice what's missing before others do
- Experience at a high-growth technology company preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience writing internal documentation, training materials, or adoption playbooks
- Basic SQL knowledge for querying adoption or usage data
Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis
