Subcontract Security Lead, US Amazon Dedicated Cloud Security

Amazon's Security team is looking for a Subcontract Security Lead to help stand up and run the industrial-security backbone of a U.S. Government program building a purpose-built, classified AI Factory. We are obsessed with protecting customer trust and with getting our partners cleared, compliant, and productive without slowing the mission. In this role you own the DD-254 lifecycle end to end: issuing and flowing down classification specifications to our subcontractors, verifying their security posture, and keeping cognizance across the full partner lifecycle. You will work shoulder to shoulder with program security officers, the CPSO, personnel security, and our Government counterparts to make sure every partner meets the same high bar we hold ourselves to. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key job responsibilities
• Issue, maintain, and track subcontractor DD-254s and verify security requirement flow-down to partners.
• Monitor subcontractor security compliance and coordinate self-inspections and corrective actions.
• Maintain access rosters, visit certifications, and need-to-know verification for subcontractor personnel.
• Coordinate with the Government PSO and prime security team on subcontractor security matters.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of industrial/personnel security or subcontract security administration experience.
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM (32 CFR 117) and DD-254 administration.
- Experience maintaining security records and access rosters.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting U.S. Government or IC contracts and OS&CI processes.
- Familiarity with the NSCM and ICD 704 personnel-security standards.
- FSO/CPSO or security certification (e.g., ISP, SFPC).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
