Finance Manager, NA 3P External Fulfillment Finance

We are looking for a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in the development and controllership of a warehousing and distribution network across the US.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be directly involved in building robust models to support the finance organization to track and understand results. The role will monitor KPI’s, provide guidance to our business teams, drive cross functional requests and ownership of standard work to include: WBR, MBR, QBR, participation in building planning models and consolidating results.

In addition, partnering with our 1P finance team for best in class results for the larger organization. The role will require quickly learning and fully grasping the business’s economics to understand the big picture, gaining proficiency in our data to capture the right details, and communicating clearly and succinctly to effectively partner with business leaders and influence decisions.

This highly visible role requires a candidate to demonstrate high standards, exercise considerable judgement, deep dive results, and articulate communication (both written/verbal).

About the team
This is the leader role for financial leadership of the US 3PL Finance network, supporting Amazon Warehousing Distribution (AWD). The role is part of a team that supports financial business partnering, planning and controllership for External Fulfillment in NA, with growing support of 3PLs.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift)
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
