The Work:

• Lead collaborative efforts between Accenture and clients to design and implement transformative business applications in the power generation and nuclear industry.
• Shape and execute strategies to address process applications or integration gaps, translating them into actionable programs and projects.
• Oversee application, process, and functional design activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
• Define and refine functional requirements to guide the application design process.
• Lead the development and testing of functional designs for innovative business solutions and components.
• Manage the implementation of applications, data conversion strategies, and test planning and execution.
• Help to support new business development initiatives, including marketing, proposal creation, and client presentations.

Travel may be required for this role.  The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

We are open to hiring in most major cities across the US, that are near to an Accenture corporate office.

Here’s what you need:

• For Consultants, we require a minimum of 3 years of experience; and for Managers we require a minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation, preferably in the nuclear or power plant industry.
• At least 2 years of experience leading client-facing teams and building effective business strategies (either traditional consulting or internal consulting).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting natural gas power generation assets, including combined-cycle and/or simple-cycle facilities, with demonstrated experience across plant operations, engineering, asset performance/reliability, capital projects, procurement/EPC, commissioning, or operational transformation.
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments to meet project milestones and client goals
• Strong familiarity with emerging technologies in the nuclear sector, such as AI, predictive maintenance tools, or digital twins.
• Expertise in nuclear work management, including work planning, scheduling, and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with nuclear asset management, equipment reliability, and configuration control.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Bonus Points if:

• You possess combined cycle or simple cycle natural gas experience power generation (engineering, operations, procurement, leadership roles), power systems analysis
• You have demonstrated success in leading teams and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• You have a track record of applying creative and analytical problem-solving skills in complex environments.
• You have a strong desire to work in an information systems environment.
• You have strong functional experience in Maximo
• You have an outstanding leadership and communication skills (both written and oral).

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
