Job Description

As a Consultant, Project Manager at Pismo, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives and strengthening project management practices across the organization. Working closely with leaders and cross-functional global teams, you will help evolve the PMO, ensure successful project delivery, and contribute to high-visibility initiatives. What You'll Do

Project Management Expertise

• Lead complex, cross-functional IT projects from kickoff through delivery.
• Coordinate multifunctional teams through influence, clear communication, and efficient collaboration.
• Identify risks early and develop effective contingency plans.
• Apply agile methodologies to keep projects adaptive, focused, and on track.
• Implement process improvements that drive quality, speed, and consistency.
• Facilitate strategic portfolio reviews to optimize priorities and resource allocation.
  

PMO Governance and Impact

• Design and evolve project management methodologies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure project alignment with PMO governance, standards, and best practices.
• Monitor project and portfolio performance using KPIs and actionable metrics.
• Promote continuous learning and development within the PMO team.
• Communicate with executives in a clear, compelling, and strategic way.

AI and Data-Driven Excellence

• Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance project forecasting, resource allocation, and risk analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive PMO tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends that may impact project management and delivery.
• Use data analysis to strengthen project management practices and support the decision-making process.
• Combine AI and data/BI tools, such as Power BI, to generate meaningful and actionable insights.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. 

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing software projects, preferably with multidisciplinary and global teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools, such as Jira.
• Experience with, or interest in, applying AI to project management.
• Strong data analysis skills and a data-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with documentation and governance frameworks, such as PDCA, RACI, and PMI.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies.
• A creative, proactive thinker who sees solutions where others see roadblocks.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a hands-on approach.
