Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands active involvement in setting standards that promote high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions, while fostering collaboration and innovation within the team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to align technical efforts with business requirements.
- The candidate should be capable of building real-time dashboards for application availability, error rates, API performance, service health, and operational metrics, while configuring proactive alerting and notification mechanisms for critical incidents.
- The role requires collaboration with application, DevOps teams to improve platform reliability, operational visibility, and incident response capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Elastic Stack / Observability Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kibana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and centralized log management to design and develop application health monitoring dashboards for the software platform.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (GCP/Azure), log analytics, monitoring, observability, root cause analysis, and production support is essential.
- Knowledge of Filebeat/Elastic Agent, APM, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana integration, and distributed tracing will be an added advantage.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Advanced Embedded System Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
