Protective Services Manager

Role Overview

The Protective Services Manager will support Accenture’s Global Protection & Security (GP&S) organization by leading a team of EMEA-based intelligence analysts responsible for identifying, assessing and communicating security and geopolitical risks that could impact Accenture’s people and business operations.

Reporting to the GP&S Assistant Director for Intelligence, this role will provide leadership and strategic direction to the regional intelligence team, oversee the development of timely and actionable intelligence assessments, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to support informed security decision-making.

The successful candidate will bring strong people leadership, intelligence analysis expertise, sound judgment and the ability to translate complex geopolitical and security developments into clear, relevant insights for stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide strategic direction to a team of EMEA-based intelligence analysts responsible for monitoring and assessing geopolitical, security and operational developments across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members while supporting consistent analytical quality, collaboration and effective delivery.
• Identify, research and assess geopolitical developments, emerging threats and security risks using a broad range of relevant information and intelligence sources.
• Provide regional expertise on developments across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and assess their potential implications for Accenture’s people and business operations.
• Author, review and edit intelligence assessments addressing issues ranging from tactical security threats to broader strategic geopolitical developments.
• Apply established intelligence analysis methodologies and tradecraft to support high-quality, objective and actionable assessments.
• Translate complex intelligence and geopolitical developments into concise insights that support stakeholder awareness and decision-making.
• Build effective relationships with security stakeholders and collaborate across functions including Human Resources, Legal, Marketing & Communications and relevant Market Units.
• Engage with GP&S and business stakeholders to understand intelligence requirements and ensure analysis remains relevant to evolving business and security priorities.
• Contribute to the continued development of the regional intelligence capability, including analytical standards, ways of working and knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in all-source intelligence analysis within government, military, law enforcement, corporate security or the private sector.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or supervising teams in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing geopolitical, security or intelligence developments and assessing their potential impact on organizations or operations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex information and develop clear, well-supported assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating complex information to a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced and geographically dispersed environment.
• Ability to occasionally work outside regular business hours and on weekends based on operational requirements.
• Ability to work business hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone, as required by the role.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence, Political Science or a related field.
• Formal training in intelligence analysis, structured analytical techniques or intelligence tradecraft.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the geopolitical and security environment across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Experience producing and reviewing strategic and tactical intelligence assessments for senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing intelligence or security professionals.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a multinational or complex global organization.
• Proficiency with open-source intelligence research and monitoring platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Forms.
