Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, automate, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native platforms across enterprise environments. A typical day involves collaborating with development, operations, security, and architecture teams to deliver secure, resilient, and highly available solutions. You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud technologies to enhance platform reliability, deployment efficiency, operational excellence, and automation while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives and platform initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Implement configuration management and automation solutions using Ansible.
Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based repositories.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Configure and support Kubernetes clusters, including Amazon EKS environments.
Implement deployment strategies such as Rolling, Blue-Green, and Canary deployments.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and operational workflows.
Monitor platform health, identify performance bottlenecks, and conduct root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform modernization, reliability, and automation.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.


Professional & Technical Skills
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, including module development, remote state management, workspaces, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
Experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, dynamic inventory, configuration management, and automation.
Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD pipeline development using Declarative Pipelines and Jenkinsfiles.
Experience with GitHub or GitLab, including branching strategies, pull requests, webhooks, and repository management.
Strong expertise in Docker containerization, image creation, optimization, and registry management.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster administration, troubleshooting, Helm Charts, Kustomize, RBAC, and namespace management.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including VPC, Networking, Security Groups, IAM Roles and Policies, EC2, Auto Scaling, EKS/ECS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and DynamoDB.
Experience implementing enterprise-scale CI/CD and infrastructure automation solutions.
Strong Linux administration skills with Bash scripting and working knowledge of Python.
Proficiency in Git, including rebasing, merge conflict resolution, and repository management.
Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Experience implementing deployment strategies such as Rolling, Blue-Green, and Canary deployments.
Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and production support experience.


Additional Information
Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps Pipelines is preferred.
Exposure to Git Ops tools such as Argo CD and Flux CD is desirable.
Knowledge of and Open Tofu will be an added advantage.
Experience with advanced Kubernetes ecosystem tools, including Cluster Auto scaler, Cert-Manager, AWS Load Balancer Controller, Network Policies, and Ingress Controllers.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, and Open Telemetry.
Experience with security and compliance tools, including Trivy, Checkov, tf sec, and image-signing solutions.
Exposure to AWS Systems Manager and service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linked.
Experience working on OTT, Media, Streaming, or high-traffic digital platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with AWS Media Services, including Media Live, Media Package, Media Convert, and CloudFront.
Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred certifications include:
AWS Solutions Architect Associate
AWS Sys Ops Administrator Associate
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Terraform Associate
The candidate should have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineering.
