Project Role : Database Administrator
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : BTech or MTech or MCA with IT or CSE or EEE or ECE 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Database Administrator, your typical day involves managing and overseeing the lifecycle of databases to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. You will engage in activities such as designing and implementing new database systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring data integrity through backup and recovery processes. Collaboration with various teams and clients is a key aspect, where you contribute to problem-solving and support the continuous improvement of database environments. Your role also includes installing database management systems and updating procedural documentation to streamline operations and enhance system stability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data by managing access controls and conducting regular audits.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and restoration techniques.
- Experience in database installation, configuration, and patch management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues effectively.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- This position is based at our HDC3C - SEZ location.
- A BTech or MTech or MCA with IT or CSE or EEE or ECE is required.
