The Featured Content Localization team helps bring some of Apple Music’s most important features and editorial content to a global audience. We manage copy in 40+ languages that connects listeners to—and unlocks new, personalized ways for them to engage with—music and artists they’ll love across genres, cultures, and languages.

Description

We are looking for a Localization Producer who will be responsible for project-managing copy deliverables for international markets through a variety of paths, from copywriting to AIML workflows. You will collaborate with a wide range of global teams—including Design, Editorial, Product, Marketing, and Engineering—to ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting industry-leading standards of quality. The ideal candidate has the right mix of operational, technical, editorial, and communication skills, and is both a project manager and an advocate for the international customer.

Responsibilities

Manage customer-facing copy in Apple Music that provides editorial context and unlocks AI-powered features for users around the world.

Work knowledgeably across a variety of disciplines, technologies, and partners to provide linguistic solutions that meet the specific needs of each project—including original writing, MTPE, MTQE, and AI-generated copy.
Coordinate with teams within Apple as well as external vendors across different time zones and hemispheres to communicate goals, manage timelines, anticipate risks, and provide creative solutions.
Advocate for and constantly help to identify ways to provide the richest linguistic experience for international customers of all languages and cultures.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a project manager, producer, technical program manager, or similar role within localization or another industry with a focus on globalization.
Must be highly detail-oriented, able to multitask and oversee multiple projects at the same time in 40+ languages while operating on short turnarounds.
Experience with machine translation, large language models, or other AI-enabled language technologies, including quality evaluation and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Critical thinking and resourcefulness. Must be able to navigate ambiguity, assess risks, and make swift, independent decisions that are best for the project and the localized customer experience.
A deep understanding of online production and PM technologies. Ability to learn and manage data in complex tools and systems that are continuously evolving.
Strong appreciation for and insight into linguistic, cultural, product, and market nuances by geography.

Preferred Qualifications

Linguistic expertise in at least one language other than English
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
Comfort and competence working on the Mac platform, using iOS, and familiarity with Apple UI terminology
PM certification
BA/BS degree

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,800 and $191,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
