We are currently seeking a PR Manager, Trust & Safety for our Communications team.

Description

The PR Manager will support the development of strategy, planning and execution of major PR programs and initiatives across privacy and online safety.

Responsibilities

Creating and managing PR programs with technology, consumer, broadcast and general business press
Partnering with product marketing, privacy engineering, and other relevant stakeholders to develop product positioning, messaging and competitive analysis
Handling crisis communication issues with a focus on managing a message within an hourly news cycle
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic as well as a passion for technology, privacy, and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years experience in Public Relations, agency or corporate.
Experience working directly with reporters and content to shape positive media coverage.
Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, anticipate potential issues, and apply insights to the team’s work.
Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong product knowledge and PR experience in the areas of consumer electronics, technology, policy, information security, and privacy strongly preferred.
You are highly adaptable and work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
Hard-working, with a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology.
You should be able to handle multiple projects, be willing to dig-in quickly on key activities and thrive in a very dynamic environment.
You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative, technical and critical thinking abilities.
You possess excellent writing skills and are an effective communicator with detailed project management skills.

Pay & Benefits — Cupertino, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,700 and $180,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
