Sr. Technical Program Manager, eXperience Measurement Science (XMS)

Are you excited by the challenge of harnessing employee voices across the globe? The eXperience Measurement Science team is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to own and drive employee listening programs at the intersection of science, engineering, and business strategy.

You will work across multiple science and software teams to own the end-to-end lifecycle of employee listening programs, from concept and architecture review through delivery and continuous improvement. You will develop fluency in the technical systems that underpin our listening infrastructure, including scheduling pipelines, data collection systems, and statistical models, in order to identify constraints, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose and built for scale, accuracy, and operational excellence.

You will consult directly with business customers to understand their problems, frame the right research questions in partnership with science leads, and translate complex methodology and findings into accurate, decision-driving documents for non-technical audiences. You are the connective tissue between science, engineering, and business, ensuring solutions are technically sound, practically implementable, and clearly communicated.

The ideal candidate brings technical judgment developed through hands-on experience with managing programs in a science or analytics context, combined with a track record of managing complex, ambiguous programs across diverse stakeholder groups. You thrive in ambiguity, use data to guide decisions, and hold a high bar for accuracy and clarity in everything you communicate.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the full program lifecycle for a portfolio of employee listening programs, from requirements gathering through delivery, performance monitoring, and iteration, in close partnership with the eXperience Measurement Science team.
- Develop deep technical fluency in the question scheduling, data collection systems, and statistical approaches that power Amazon Connections; understand architecture, component dependencies, system limitations, and operational characteristics well enough to identify risks and trade-offs across design choices.
- Create thorough documentation for survey campaign deployment including content programs, target populations, sampling approach, and integrations with internal technical systems.
- Independently translate complex scientific methodology and findings into accurate, concise, customer-facing documents, including design documents, science business reviews, and program launch narratives.
- Identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities across survey campaign development, content management, and scheduling operations, reducing manual overhead and increasing throughput without compromising quality or data integrity.
- Define and own key performance indicators for listening programs; use data to surface insights, identify performance anomalies, and guide program strategy.
- Represent the eXperience Measurement Science center of excellence with PXT and broader Amazon businesses, fostering relationships that enable successful outcomes.

About the team
The eXperience Measurement Science (XMS) team own the experience measurement strategy and execution for global Amazon, including active listening and experience priorities for corporate and WW Operations, operationalized via Connections and other data collection tools. We set and execute a scientific data collection strategy that underpins listening modeling, prediction, and insights across Amazon whilst prioritising a positive responder experience.

Basic Qualifications

- 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
