In the Sr Program Manager role, you will lead end-to-end execution of people initiatives, leverage data and emerging AI capabilities to inform decisions, and operate across a wide range of problem-solving scenarios from strategic to real-time. As Support evolves its workforce model creating new roles, redefining existing ones, and building capabilities at the intersection of human judgment and AI, you will design and drive the people initiatives that enable that transformation.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, thinks big, and drives change through metrics, experimentation, and a genuine curiosity for how AI can transform people processes. You earn trust, have strong ownership, and bring a track record of delivering results in complex, global organizations. This role requires collaboration across AWS Support and broader Amazon teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence with data-driven recommendations.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead delivery and end-to-end execution of strategic people initiatives across AWS Support PXT, ensuring alignment with business priorities and people strategy.
- Proactively experiment with and leverage AI tools to enhance people processes, improve efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions across the employee lifecycle.
- Drive talent management and development initiatives that build leadership capability, accelerate career growth, and strengthen the talent pipeline across AWS Support.
- Own and drive the PXT business rhythm including planning cycles, goal-setting mechanisms, business reviews, and operational cadences, to ensure the PXT team operates with rigor and transparency.
- Act as the central nervous system for the Support PXT team
- Leverage problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset to identify and remove process roadblocks and look around corners with PXT initiatives.
- Implement regular reviews of current processes, develop suggestions for improvements, quickly identify obstacles, and prioritize changes to maximize impact.
- Lead and contribute to written narratives to disseminate impact and learning of initiatives to senior leadership and PXT stakeholders.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures across geographically distributed teams within AWS Support.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
