Multiple Positions Available:

1. Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development, and infrastructure teams.
2. Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives to help enterprises speed the adoption of new technologies and practices.
3. Architect and build highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the AWS platform using core developer services such as: API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB and ECS.
4. Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serveriess, containers, microservices).
5. Migrate monolithic applications to micro services architectures.
6. Advise on implementing AWS best practices.
7. Influence infrastructure architecture by sharing your application development expertise.
8. Represent the voice for developers internally and influence our AWS Professional Services offerings and AWS product strategy for developers by working with AWS platform engineering, Business Development and other crossfunctional teams Inclusive Team Culture Here at AWS.
9. Domestic travel up to 25% may be required.

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline, and three years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or related IT experience. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or related IT experience.
Experience must include:
1. 3 years of experience with at least one of the following: technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, or virtualization.
2. 1 year of experience supporting AWS customers with at least five of these services: AWS Virtual Private Cloud, Direct Connect, Web Application Firewall, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancer, CloudWatch, AutoScaling, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Config, or GuardDuty.
3. Any experience with cloud-based solutions to migrate existing workloads and infrastructure to the cloud, or integration of cloud services with on-premises technologies from vendors including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, or SAP.
4. Any experience with scripting and programming tools and languages including, but not limited to Java, Python, CloudFormation, Terraform, PowerShell, PHP, C++, Linux Shell scripting or related.
5. Any experience with the design, development, deployment or maintenance of IT infrastructure or business software in real work environments.
6. Any experience working with customer IT teams in designing or troubleshooting cloud and network related architecture.
