Vice President, Global Business Development - US Structured & Private Credit

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a Vice President to help grow our structured credit business across CLOs, leveraged loans, and fund finance. This role sits within the Global Business Development team and focuses on building relationships with asset managers, lenders, arrangers, issuers, and investors across the market.

We're looking for someone who combines market knowledge with a commercial mindset. Success in this role also requires the confidence to create opportunities, build new connections, and expand Morningstar DBRS's presence across the market.

What you'll be doing:

• Build relationships with asset managers, issuers, lenders, arrangers, and investors across the structured credit market.
• Support business development efforts across CLOs, leveraged loans, and fund finance. I
• Identify new opportunities to expand Morningstar DBRS's market presence and ratings activity.
• Represent Morningstar DBRS in client meetings, industry conferences, and market events.
• Partner with analytical, marketing, and leadership teams to support commercial objectives and client engagement.
• Stay informed on market developments and industry trends impacting structured credit.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in structured credit, structured finance, leveraged finance, fund finance, banking, ratings, or a related capital markets environment.
• Understanding of credit markets and the participants that operate within them.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to develop business opportunities through both existing networks and proactive outreach.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across financial institutions and asset managers.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

The Group

The Global Business Development team works closely with analytical teams to support Morningstar DBRS's ratings business across global credit markets. The team engages with market participants across structured credit sectors, helping clients understand our ratings capabilities while supporting the continued growth of the franchise.

Base Salary Compensation Range

$112,280.70-$175,906.43

Incentive Target Percentage

40% Annual
