Sr. Program Manager, BizOps, Amazon Experiences & Upskilling

Amazon Experiences & Upskilling (AXU) is looking for a Business Operations Lead who can sit in the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution. This role requires someone who has built operating rhythms before, knows what works, and looks for opportunities to leverage technology to continuously improve, including use of AI. Reporting directly to the AXU Engagement leader, you will work with a high degree of independence, owning the full operating rhythm, planning cycles, and leadership reporting that keep the team on track.

You will ensure the team is focused on delivering — tracking with discipline and working across AXU and business operations teams — spanning everything from weekly team meetings through to annual and long-range planning. You will prepare leadership for their most important reviews, surface the signals that matter, and build repeatable processes that help the team get smarter over time. We seek someone who drives results without waiting for direction. You should also be confident using AI tools to speed up your work, raising the bar on what one person can deliver. As the team and you develop AI-driven mechanisms, you ensure we maintain the knowledge base and deprecate or build in response to customer needs.

Key job responsibilities
Own and run the end-to-end operating rhythm for the AXU PXT Engagement Team, including weekly syncs, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and annual planning cycles.
Drive the AXU PXT Engagement Team planning process for annual operating plans, pulling together inputs from across the team and turning them into clear, well-structured narratives.
Prepare MBR and QBR packs for the AXU PXT Engagement Team leadership covering goal progress, risks, blockers, and decisions needed.
Lead the annual and mid-year goal-setting process, making sure goals align with broader organizational priorities while building tracking tools that surface progress and needed course corrections early.
Act as the operational point of contact for cross-team initiatives, planning cycles, and leadership requests while identifying dependencies and escalating blockers with data and clear recommendations.

A day in the life
Your day starts with reviewing the team dashboard to identify any emerging risks that need attention. You might spend the morning finalizing a Monthly Business Review presentation, ensuring all key metrics and decision points are highlighted. After lunch, you lead a planning session with cross-functional partners to align on upcoming priorities. Later, you work independently to draft an executive communication for the AXU PXT Engagement Team leader and use AI tools to analyze program data, identifying improvement opportunities to share in tomorrow's leadership sync.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
