Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management

Overview

Mastercard Merchant Cloud and Acceptance represent core strategic priorities for the Asia Pacific region. Our mission is to empower acquirers, merchants, payment service providers (PSPs), and payment facilitators by delivering seamless, best-in-class experiences across both digital and in-person commerce. We aim to position Mastercard Merchant Cloud as the leading platform for acceptance.
As an integral part of Mastercard’s regional growth strategy, this role will support sales initiatives across Asia Pacific. Key responsibilities include conducting market research and benchmarking, contributing to go-to-market planning, supporting solution commercialization, and engaging in client-related activities. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Operations, Delivery, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and other internal partners—to drive execution and deliver strategic outcomes.

Role

- Support the identification and assessment of potential opportunities for Merchant Cloud across APAC through data analysis and insight generation.
- Conduct customer segmentation and lifecycle analysis to identify indicators of expansion, cross-sell, or product adoption potential
- Analyze transaction characteristics and market data to support identification of relevant customer segments
- Develop and maintain analytical frameworks and reporting models including opportunity sizing approaches, funnel and conversion analytics, and pipeline coverage metrics for internal monitoring and decision-support purposes.
- Build and maintain integrated analytical datasets and internal insight packs by combining data sources for internal analysis.
- Integrate diverse data inputs to generate analytical insights and structured outputs that may indicate high-potential customers segments and support internal prioritization discussions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support and validate data assumptions; does not involve participation in commercial decision-making or execution.
- Provide data backed insights, benchmarking and analytical inputs to support value propositions by relevant team, ensuring Mastercard’s differentiation in the Merchant Cloud and Acceptance space.
- Analyse client trends and develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility and support internal decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Partner with internal technology and core payments teams to support pipeline generation through various data sources, reporting and opportunity sizing models.

All About You

- Experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce in APAC, ideally with exposure to acquirers, PSPs, merchants, or acceptance ecosystems.
- Strong data analysis capability, including advanced Excel (mandatory) and Tableau or Power BI (preferred).
- Proven ability to work with multi-source datasets and synthesize them into clear, practical outputs.
- Experience supporting multi-market proposition launches, including pipeline dashboards, account-level analysis, and business insights that inform commercial decision-making.
- Ability to translate data into simple, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- High ownership mindset, self-starter mentality, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and the ability to create structure within a matrix organization.
