As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with team members to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer actively engages in iterative development cycles, applying modern frameworks and agile methodologies to build scalable and efficient software. Collaboration and continuous enhancement of the software components are key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring that the solutions remain robust and aligned with evolving business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to software design and development processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.
- Continuously monitor and improve software performance and reliability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Java Enterprise Edition, Angular, Spring Boot.
- Experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance using PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with integrating backend services with frontend frameworks such as Angular.
- Knowledge of building and deploying applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Understanding of database schema design, indexing, and transaction management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database and application integration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
