Senior Supply Chain Manager, AFP Performance

Amazon Freight Partners (AFP) is a growing program where entrepreneurs build their business with Amazon. This role leads the strategic initiatives that improve how the team and the program operate at scale. You work alongside a core group of carriers, own the metrics that measure their success, and drive the strategy to improve performance across your portfolio. Your goal is to give carriers the tools and support they need to succeed. When they execute well, customers get their deliveries on time and the network runs. You solve problems using data and root-cause analysis, and you work across product, planning, and fleet teams whether the fix sits with the carrier or within Amazon's systems. You solve for both the carrier and Amazon's customer. Leadership looks to you for answers on your domain. You own the story behind the numbers, connect what's happening on the ground to what leaders need to decide, and build relationships so problems get solved before they reach the customer.

Key job responsibilities
Lead program-level initiatives end-to-end: problem framing, data, stakeholder alignment, implementation.
Own KPIs for your portfolio. Have a point of view on your numbers and a plan to improve them.
Own your domain's narrative at the WBR level. Present to senior leadership with confidence.
Build relationships across product, planning, fleet, and customer experience. Be the sole representative of Carrier Services in the room.
Turn patterns into playbooks the whole team can use. Mentor L5s.
Own performance and relationships for a portfolio of AFP carriers. Know their business, their drivers, their challenges.
Root-cause rejections before coaching. If the problem is ours, fix it on our side.
Conduct and document regular carrier 1:1s.

A day in the life
AFP is growing fast and you're building solutions that grow with it. One day you're figuring out how to get new partners up to speed faster. The next you're presenting performance trends to leadership, working with a product team on improvements, or leading a change that gives carriers better tools to succeed. You might spend the afternoon on a call with a carrier owner talking through what's working and what's not, or digging into data to understand why a group of carriers at the same location all have the same problem. The opportunities are real, the pace is fast, and you're the person making sure carriers, customers, and the team are set up to win.

About the team
You will report to the Sr. Manager over AFP Performance and join a team of 10 performance managers. The team is geographically distributed across the US. Role is field-based with a domicile assignment.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
