Position Responsibilities:
Operate autonomously, delivering projects that have scope at the team level and are starting to interact with other teams. Seek guidance from their manager, Sr. Engineers, or Principal Engineers when facing tradeoff decisions. Mentor new team members on how the team’s services are constructed and operate. Help guide and influence the team by providing feedback during operational reviews and influence their manager by contributing during backlog reviews and planning meetings. Solve difficult technical problems that require understanding the team’s software and weigh trade-offs to deliver solutions that are logical, testable and maintainable. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) scripting in at least one programming language (Python, BASH, Ruby, or equivalent); (2) experience with computing systems, software architecture, and data structures; and (3) experience with Unix or Linux troubleshooting.
