Strategic Business Impact

For this role, projects may include the following responsibilities:

• Monitors medium-term capacity utilization plans based on identified bottleneck (equipment or labor)
• Partners with Demand Planning, Scheduling group, Manufacturing and Labs for both OSD and Steriles on medium to long term demand/ supply issues.
• Performs rough cut capacity planning activities to include level loading.
• Balances demand and supply by highlighting capacity and other constraints in the S&OP document within the 12-18 month range.
• Initiates and supports efforts to improve profitability through improved inventory turns, meeting customer requirements and improved line-fill.
• Utilizes SOP Inventory Planning Model to develop product specific production requirements to balance customer demand, inventory targets and manufacturing capabilities.
• Provides graphic inventory plans to evaluate campaign timing and quantity, communicates inventory plans to management and evaluate the impact of supply and demand scenarios.
• Prepares the operational items for the Inventory Review Board (IRB).
• Supports the S&OP Process by thorough analysis of resources, correlate data and provide management with effective medium-term planning scenarios. Supports the Master Production Scheduling efforts. Supports the translation of tactical plans to operational plans
• Provides analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of S&OP data reporting.
• Works in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace. Complies with all job-related safety and other training requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Our Undergraduate co-ops offer an hourly rate between $24.00 - $25.00 dependent upon academic year (rising Junior or Senior).

What We Look For

Academic Background & Work Experience:

• Undergraduate student completing a Bachelor’s degree in either a scientific or production-related field between December 2027 – June 2029.
• Previous related co-ops, internships, and / or work experience preferred.

Leadership Profile:

• Proven leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, Greek life, community service, volunteer organizations, campus programs, military service, or other leadership roles.
• A track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, driving results, and creating positive impact within teams and organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
• Evidence of grit, resilience, and perseverance when facing challenges, setbacks, or competing priorities.
• Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
• Geographic mobility and flexibility required to pursue co-op and future career opportunities in locations aligned with business needs.
• Onsite and in-office work is an essential function of this role and is required throughout the program and in future placements to support collaboration across businesses, functions, and locations.

Compensation

The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $24.00–$25.00.
