Senior Finance Manager, WW R&R, World Wide (WW) Returns and Recommerce

The WW Returns and Recommerce finance team seeks a self-driven Senior Finance Manager excited about solving complex problems that have a customer facing impact, require strategic long-term thinking and help drive the 4 Zeroes.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be pivotal to the team's success by setting the playbook for measuring efficacy of operational programs designed to improve returns experience and simplifying decision support through financial and operational reporting of worldwide returns and concessions cost. You will undertake financial modeling and review progress of various cost reduction programs. This role will provide extensive cross-functional partnership opportunities with senior business and finance stakeholders through governance over weekly/monthly performance reviews.

Key job responsibilities
- Measure efficacy of programs designed to improve sellable yield, increase vendor recoveries and reduce cost (Direct-to-disposition, Removals and Palletized Returns for retail vendors, Advanced Grading, Locker+ stores etc.). Influence business decisions by presenting the right performance narrative across customer experience, business model and long-term vision
- Partner with Customer Service (CS) teams to improve CS cost on returns, including discretionary concessions ($400MM spend US)
- Own monthly governance on measuring Free-cash-flow (cost savings) program for Returns business
- Controllership – build systems to improve accuracy of Cognos plans and loads, partner with product teams to build ASIN-level visibility on Net Cost of Returns and Concession (NCRC), including slices for sort vs. non-sort, product family etc
- Automate capability for creating financial bridges, centralize standard work templates across returns finance
- Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly
- Remain accountable to hire and develop a high performing finance team, including team engagement, career growth, and performance management
- Contribute to the larger finance community as a corporate citizen

Basic Qualifications

- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 10+ members experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
