PCB Layout Engineer, Amazon Leo

As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will participate in the definition and implementation of multiple spacecraft subsystems. This individual will contribute in all phases of system design and production. You must bring a combination of PCB design, assembly, test and fabrication knowledge, cross team functional interdependence, and demonstrable design process experience to the position. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before. Key job responsibilities
Create the physical layout of a PCB from concept to fabrication using Cadence Allegro or Mentor Xpedition in a highly collaborative design environment.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
- 4+ years experience of PCB layout using industry standard PCB design suites.
- Experience with high current density designs.
- Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
- 7+ years of analog or RF layout design experience
- Experience in design for Aerospace Class 3
- Experience as a technical lead for small teams of PCB layout engineers.
- Experience with CAM350 and BluePrint

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
