Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management, Amazon External Payments

As Amazon External Payments (AEP), our mission is to enable Amazon’s trusted, effortless payment experience across merchants and agents everywhere. We are the payments services and products team that powers off-Amazon and agentic commerce for all of Amazon’s businesses including Stores, Alexa+, and AWS AgentCore. We are also evolving Amazon Pay, which enables seamless checkout using the Amazon Wallet across hundreds of thousands of merchants globally.
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, TPM with a background in developing, delivering, and supporting software products and services for a broad spectrum of clients and customers. You have strong technical fluency, excellent communication skills, and know how to inspire a team to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You will work with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to clarify roadmaps, roles, and responsibilities; ultimately drive delivery of programs, holding all contributors accountable for their deliverables.
This role sits at the center of AEP’s charter: extending Amazon Pay to new surfaces and enabling agentic commerce across Stores, Alexa+, and AWS AgentCore. You will lead a team of TPMs and partner closely with engineering and product leaders, external partners, and BD to deliver programs in a domain that is still being defined.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in people management
- Experience in technical program management
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
- Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
