Who we are looking for

 

We are looking for a Dealing Platform Associate 2 reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President. You will charge of delivering and maintaining excellent work and service level standards, within the platform team responsible for the settlement of all transactions placed on the various platforms such as Clearstream and Euroclear.


This is a 12 Months Fixed term contract

 

Why this role is important to us

 

The team you will be joining is a part of Transfer Agency/Dealing, a function that is vital to the company as it serves as primary contact for ensuring timely settlement of all transactions placed on the various platforms, with high level of interaction with internal and external parties.

 

 

What you will be responsible for

 

  • Be the first contact point for delegates and Associate 1 (A1)

  • Review and Authorize in a timely and accuracy manner all tasks performed by A1 and delegates such as:

  • platform transactions (Clearstream, Euroclear, SIX SIS…) ensuring they are in good order for execution as per the instruction received and within market deadlines.

  • securities reconciliations, balance breaks and reconciliations exceptions between transfer agent, authorized participant, clearing houses and depositories

  • internal payments within currency cut-off deadlines

  • failed trades chasing

  • Perform oversight controls

  • Maintain internal user guides to date

  • Lead team meetings

  • Participating in projects (market events, new business, system upgrade..)

  • Participating in the audit exercises

  • Suggest improvement processes

  • Excellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational, planning and co-ordination skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Detailed understanding of  procedural, technical and product requirements within Transfer Agency business

  • Fluent English language skills, any other European Language is a plus

 

Education & Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably within Banking sector.

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fluent English language skills

 

Additional requirements

 

  • Excellent communications skill

  • Flexible

  • Accurate and precise

  • TA settlement experience

  • is a plus

 

Work Requirement

 

  • Working hours by shift to cover (8am7pm) + public holiday on a rotation basis due to client/released based requirement
