Summary:
As a Prompt Engineer, a typical day involves designing, creating, and refining prompts tailored for Large Language Models to optimize their performance. The role includes employing various techniques to guide and enhance the quality and relevance of model responses. Throughout the day, the engineer develops effective interactions with artificial intelligence systems by leveraging programming skills and utilizing specialized environments to test and improve prompt effectiveness. Collaboration and iterative refinement are key aspects, ensuring that the outputs meet desired objectives and support broader project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the continuous improvement of prompt design methodologies to enhance model accuracy and user experience.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to build collective expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align prompt engineering strategies with overall project objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Prompt Engineering.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI model interaction and prompt development.
- Ability to analyze and interpret model outputs to iteratively improve prompt effectiveness.
- Familiarity with AI playgrounds and environments for testing and refining prompt designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges in prompt optimization and model behavior.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Prompt Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
