Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of application and data migration strategies that ensure scalability and high performance. The engineer collaborates with various teams to design and implement solutions that leverage both private and public cloud technologies, aiming to support innovative business goals and enhance operational efficiency. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration processes are essential to meet evolving project requirements and deliver successful cloud adoption.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of migration plans ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align migration objectives with organizational goals.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and integration within the project.
- Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services, Oracle Database Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data replication and real-time data integration techniques.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud migration solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components and deployment models.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data migration workflows for performance and reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
