Summary:
As a Technology Architect, a typical day involves designing and delivering comprehensive technology architecture tailored for a specific platform, product, or client engagement. This role requires defining innovative solutions that address critical aspects such as performance optimization, capability enhancement, and scalability to support evolving business needs. The position demands a strategic approach to ensure that architectural frameworks align with organizational goals while fostering seamless integration and future growth. Collaboration with various stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective architectural designs is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural consistency and alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Document architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive records to support knowledge sharing and future reference.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in COBOL Mainframe.
Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and DB2.
Hands-on experience in CICS with the ability to work independently.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mainframe COBOL/CICS applications.
Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality Mainframe solutions.
Strong knowledge of system design principles and architectural frameworks related to mainframe environments.
Experience in performance tuning and scalability planning for large-scale technology platforms.
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware technologies within mainframe ecosystems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust and maintainable architectures.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivity in testing processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in COBOL Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Chennai / Hyderabad / Coimbatore / Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
