Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the execution of these strategies, ensuring that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied. This includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing defect resolution, and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve seamless quality assurance outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in quality assurance processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
