Position Summary

The Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable team is looking for a Financier to support and manage cross-charges, prepayments, fixed assets, and other asset-related processes.

In this position, you will be responsible for accurate financial administration, period-end closing activities, internal controls, reconciliations, and audit support. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to maintaining and improving financial processes and procedures.

This role is suited to a finance professional with accounting experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the cross-charge process

• Process and monitor prepayments

• Perform accounting and administrative activities related to subsidies and grants

• Oversee and manage fixed assets and other asset-related processes

• Execute internal controls within assigned areas

• Support internal and external audits

• Develop, update, and maintain internal policies and procedures

• Perform period-end closing activities

• Prepare and perform balance sheet account reconciliations

• Upload reports to BlackLine

• Perform reclassifications and necessary financial adjustments

• Ensure accurate and timely financial data and documentation

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes

Experience and Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field •Previous experience in accounting or finance

• Good understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Strong ability to gather, organize, analyze, and summarize financial data

• Experience in designing and improving processes

• Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation activities

• Strong MS Office skills

• Good English language skills (B2 or above)

We Consider It an Advantage

• Knowledge of the E1 business accounting system

• Experience with BlackLine

• Experience with fixed assets, prepayments, cross-charges, or other asset-related accounting processes

• Experience supporting internal or external audits

• Previous experience in a multinational organization

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1,983.33–€2,970.83.
