Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking charge of the development process, coordinating efforts to ensure that applications meet project requirements, and serving as the main liaison for communication and decision-making. The position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks, overseeing progress, and ensuring that the software solutions align with organizational goals and client expectations. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous monitoring of project milestones are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of development activities to ensure timely delivery of software components.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP on the HANA platform.
- Ability to optimize code and improve application performance within the SAP HANA environment.
- Familiarity with SAP modules integration and data modeling techniques.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues in SAP systems.
- Capability to work with development tools and version control systems relevant to SAP ABAP projects.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
