As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high expectations for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the workflow and driving successful project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to facilitate smooth project progress and resolve any technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and implementation.
- Experience in setting and enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Ability to evaluate and improve system scalability and performance.
- Skilled in leading and coordinating software development teams.
- Competence in integrating business requirements into technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
