Job Description

We're looking for an Advanced Engineering Support Technician to join our technical team in South Seberang Perai District, Malaysia. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to our engineering department, ensuring optimal performance of systems and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with senior engineering staff.

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for engineering systems and equipment
• Diagnose and analyze complex technical problems using systematic approaches and diagnostic tools
• Perform equipment testing, maintenance, and calibration to ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all technical issues, resolutions, and system performance
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to support implementation and optimization of engineering solutions
• Customize and configure technical systems according to project specifications and requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and organizational procedures
• Respond promptly to technical inquiries and provide clear, technical guidance to team members
• Assist in the development and refinement of technical support processes and procedures
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in advanced technical support or engineering support roles
• Knowledge of engineering systems, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred:

• Experience supporting engineering projects or product development initiatives
• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies
• Experience with technical software, programming, or specialized engineering tools      
• Familiarity in computing and computer system      

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
• Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic tools
• Proficiency in equipment bring up including mechanical, electrical  and software configurations.
