Summary:
As a Physical Design Engineer, a typical day involves transforming logical circuit designs into efficient physical layouts while focusing on optimizing area, power consumption, and timing performance. The role requires performing detailed placement and routing tasks, along with clock tree synthesis, to ensure the design adheres to strict timing and manufacturing requirements. Collaboration with timing and verification teams is essential to identify and resolve any physical design challenges before the final tape-out stage. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous coordination across multiple teams to deliver high-quality design outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of physical design methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of physical design processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of physical design with other design stages.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design flow and reduce turnaround time.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Physical Design.
- Strong knowledge of placement and routing techniques, including clock tree synthesis.
- Experience in optimizing designs for area, power, and timing constraints.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability and timing closure processes.
- Ability to analyze and resolve physical design issues in collaboration with verification and timing teams.
- Skilled in using physical design tools and methodologies to meet project requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Physical Design.
- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
