Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and swiftly resolving problems to ensure seamless operation. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple system components, requiring vigilance and adaptability to maintain system integrity and support business continuity effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system performance.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on support priorities and system updates.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Datadog.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting complex software environments using Datadog tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret system metrics and logs for effective issue diagnosis.
- Ability to design and implement alerting strategies to preemptively identify potential system failures.
- Familiarity with integrating Datadog with various cloud and on-premise infrastructure components.
- Capability to collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize system reliability and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Datadog.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
